Daejeon is a major R&D hub in central South Korea, located about 170 km south of Seoul, and home to Daedeok Innopolis, Korea’s flagship R&D cluster. Our headquarter is located on the 5th floor of Daejeon Bioventure Town in Jeonmin-dong, Yuseong-gu, the headquarters fosters collaboration with other biotech companies within the same building.
It also partners with national research institutes within the Daedeok Research Complex, including the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience & Biotechnology (KRIBB), the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), and the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI). Additionally, the company utilizes shared laboratory equipment and research space provided by Daejeon Technopark for bio-related experiments and studies.
Taebaek is a former coal mining hub in Gangwon Province, eastern South Korea. We repurpose a former vertical mine shaft here to operate our drop tower for microgravity simulation and ground validation.
Taebaek Research Center, located in the heart of Taebaek City, serves as the base camp for ground-based microgravity research, supporting operations at the Jeongseon and Taebaek Drop Towers. The center houses an engineering workspace equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing tools, including a carbon fiber 3D printer, lathes, and precision machining equipment, enabling the production of drop tower modules, experimental equipment, and satellite payloads.
Yongin is part of the Seoul Metropolitan Area in Gyeonggi Province, just south of Seoul and about 1 hour from Incheon International Airport.
The Giheung facility in Yongin spans three floors, serving as a business center and research hub:
• 1st Floor – Dedicated to drop tower equipment manufacturing and an indoor drop tower experiment center.
• 2nd Floor – Houses a Bio-Lab for protein and cell research, and a Space-Lab for satellite payload development to support space bio-experiments.
• 3rd Floor – Functions as a business center, featuring office spaces and employee lounge areas.
